About Joel Muhindo

Joel was born and raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and was brought up in a Catholic home. As a young man, he went on to serve in the Catholic church as an acolyte in his hometown Kolwezi, until he later made his commitment to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and savior in 1992. Following this he bagan attending a pentecostal church. In 1998 Joel began his service in the ministry of the kingdom , before God called him to the nation of South Africa. Since his early years, God gave him a passion for winning souls for the kingdom and seeing captives set free in the power of the name of Jesus. This confirmed itself through the Holy Spirit using him in evangelism, the intercession ministry as well as healing, deliverance and the prophetic ministry. In 2008, God gave Joel a vision to start a church in the mother city of the nation of South Africa, Cape Town. With faith in God’s promise, Joel went on to work to raise a church that will meet the need in the city and in the generation. Today Prophet Joel together with his wife Pastor Chantal Nsona lead House of Prayer Church of Nations, a multicultural, multinational church with a vision of proclaiming salvation through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Joel also travels extensively around the globe as a sort after speaker and minister, through his ministry Joel Muhindo Ministries
